Bats Sweep Tulsa and Hit the Road: A Weekend of Wins, Goals, and Giving Back
Bats Sweep Tulsa and Keep the Momentum Rolling
The Austin Ice Bats had a thrilling weekend at The Crossover in Cedar Park, earning a three-game home sweep over the Tulsa Jr. Oilers. The Bats played with confidence and energy, winning by scores of 8–2, 4–2, and 6–3. The fans brought the noise, and the team delivered.
DeLeon’s Buzzer Beater Brings the Crowd to Their Feet
The weekend ended with an unforgettable moment. In the final second of Sunday’s game, Alex DeLeon scored his first goal of the season — and his first-ever goal in junior hockey. As the puck hit the back of the net, the crowd erupted, and the bench emptied in celebration. It was the perfect ending to a dominant weekend on home ice.
Three Goalies, Three Wins
The sweep also showed the Bats’ strength in goal. Michael Lane started the weekend with a strong performance in Game 1. Maverick Sweeney followed with a composed effort in Game 2. Finally, Collin Rosenau closed out the series with another solid win in Game 3. Each goaltender stepped up and helped secure the sweep. Their consistency made the difference all weekend long.

Stop by, say hello, and celebrate with both the Riverbats and the Ice Bats.
Giving Back with WhiteWater Express Car Wash
The season of giving is in full swing. On Monday, November 25, the Ice Bats are partnering with WhiteWater Express Car Wash in Cedar Park (1312 N. Bell Blvd). That day, 25% of all proceeds will be donated to United for the People, a Round Rock organization that provides resources and support for veterans. It’s another way the Ice Bats are making a difference in the community — both on and off the ice.
The Austin Ice Bats continue to bring passion, teamwork, and community spirit everywhere they go. With momentum on their side, they’re ready for the road ahead.
