Colony Update: Austin Ice Bats Road Trip Update (Nov 13–17)

The Austin Ice Bats Road Trip Update for November 13–17 highlights a week filled with strong performances, community involvement, and exciting upcoming events. The Bats spent the week on the road playing the New Mexico Ice Wolves, and their progress as a team was clear. The Ice Bats won three of four games, showing major strides in teamwork, consistency, and confidence. Because of this performance, the Bats moved back into the Top 10 in the league, now holding 10th place.

Tyler White Earns First Shutout of the Season

One of the biggest highlights of the week came on Friday night. Tyler White earned his first shutout of the season, and it was also the first shutout for the Ice Bats this year. His performance helped set the tone for the entire series. The team continued to build momentum by supporting one another, creating strong plays, and showing the progress they have been working toward all season.

Ice Bats in the Community: Giving Machine Ribbon Cutting

The Austin Ice Bats Road Trip Update also includes important community news. On Tuesday, goalies Michael Lane and Collin Rosenau represented the team at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Giving Machine. This donation station is now open and available at Ice and Field. During this holiday season, we encourage everyone to stop by and support those in need. It is a simple way to make a powerful impact.

Celebrating With ACC: River Bats’ 15th Birthday + Fang’s First Appearance

Tomorrow, the Ice Bats will attend ACC’s Highland Campus to celebrate the River Bats’ 15th birthday. Even better, Fang will make his first appearance of the season. Fans, students, and families will get the chance to meet him as he helps kick off a fun and festive weekend.

ACC students always receive 50% off tickets with their student ID, bringing admission down to $8.

However, this weekend, we are offering a Black Friday special just for ACC students. Students can buy one ticket and get the second half off, which means the first ticket is $8 and the second ticket is only $4. This is the perfect weekend to come watch the Bats take on the West Texas Wranglers:

  • Friday at 8 PM

  • Saturday at 6:45 PM

Do not miss this chance to see exciting hockey!

Next Tuesday: Fundraiser With White Water Express

Next Tuesday, the Ice Bats will partner with White Water Express Car Wash in Cedar Park to support United for the People, a veteran-aid organization based in Round Rock. This cause helps veterans in meaningful ways, and the Ice Bats are proud to help raise support.

To participate, use code 1125 at checkout. When you do, 25% of your wash will be donated directly to United for the People. This fundraiser is dedicated solely to supporting veterans, and we encourage everyone to take part in this season of giving.

As a thank-you, anyone who brings their car wash receipt—physical or a photo—to the front desk at Ice and Field during our first home weekend in December can redeem one free ticket to a game that weekend. It is a simple way to support a great cause and enjoy an exciting night of hockey.

Final Thoughts

The Austin Ice Bats Road Trip Update shows that the team is climbing, improving, and connecting with the community. With big wins, strong teamwork, and important charity events, the momentum is building both on and off the ice.

We look forward to seeing the Colony this weekend. 🦇💙🏒
