Joshua Malin enters his first season as Head Coach of the Austin Ice Bats for the 2025–26 season, following a successful season as Assistant Coach and Assistant General Manager during the 2024–25 season. Previously, he served as Assistant Coach during the 2024–25 season, contributing to the team’s 32–15–1–1 record and their first-ever playoff appearance in franchise history.

As Head Coach, Malin is committed to developing players both on and off the ice, emphasizing teamwork, mental toughness, and a relentless work ethic. Under his guidance, the Ice Bats aim to build upon their recent successes and continue to grow as a competitive force in the South Division.
