Final Home Weekend Of 2025 Recap
Friday, December 5 — 11–0 Win
The Ice Bats opened the series with a commanding performance. The defense set the tone early, limiting Tulsa to only seven shots on net the entire game, showcasing the team’s structured, disciplined approach. Collin Rosenau earned his first shutout of the season, marking the team’s second shutout this season thus far. Captain Guhnar Hillman also reached a major milestone, recording his 100th point with the Austin Ice Bats. The defensive effort on Friday established a strong foundation for the rest of the weekend.
Saturday, December 6 — 10–3 Win
Momentum carried into Saturday, with Maverick Sweeney starting in net. While the offense stayed sharp, the defense continued to limit high-danger opportunities, maintaining consistent pressure and discipline in all zones. The Bats secured a 10–3 win, with Arys Perardi hitting his 100th point with the Ice Bats, becoming the second player of the weekend to reach this milestone.
Sunday, December 7 — 16–1 Win
Sunday’s game delivered the most explosive performance of the weekend. The team generated 115 shots on net, overwhelming Tulsa throughout.
Tyler White earned another win in net, while Aiden DeLuna posted a hat trick and four total points, providing a standout offensive performance as a defenseman. Assistant Captain Jake Bamback also reached a major milestone, surpassing his 100th NA3HL point with four goals and eight points on the night. A huge congratulations to Nash Bryant (#3) for scoring his very first NA3HL goal, marking a memorable personal achievement during the series finale. The sweep demonstrated the team’s depth, strong structure, and complete execution on both ends of the ice.

With the home schedule for 2025 complete, 37 out of 47 games played in the front half, the Ice Bats now shift focus to executing their strong team structure at the NA3HL Showcase. Players have spent the week practicing hard, refining systems, and preparing special teams before departing for Blaine on Saturday. The team aims to carry the momentum from their dominant home performances into the NA3HL Showcase.
