Austin Ice Bats – NA3HL Junior Hockey Team
The Austin Ice Bats are a Tier III junior hockey team competing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). Based in Cedar Park, Texas, the Ice Bats were founded in 2021 to provide young athletes with a platform to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and advance to collegiate or higher-tier junior hockey.
In the 2023–24 season, the team faced challenges and finished with a 3-win season, but these early struggles set the stage for growth and determination. The following 2024–25 season became the most successful in franchise history, with the Ice Bats achieving a record-breaking 32-win season—a remarkable improvement from just 7 wins in previous seasons. This historic turnaround also earned the team their first-ever playoff appearance, marking a major milestone for the franchise.

Beyond the rink, the team emphasizes player development, teamwork, and community engagement, building a strong hockey culture in Austin and surrounding areas.
